Vapour Compressors

Single- and multi-stage turbo compressors with open three-dimensional curved or covered impeller, in chrome-nickel steel.
Designed as a coupling or transmission machine (with non-friction or friction bearing, grease or oil lubricated). Can be driven by electric motor (low-, medium- or high-voltage motors) or gas and steam turbines respectively.
Vacuum-proof housing design, up to 0.05 bar absolute. Water nozzle for temperature reduction and cleaning of the rotor discs. Shaft seal as low wear-and-tear turbo labyrinth seal or bearing ring seal. Exhaust vapour compressors in individual, series (up to 3 compressors in series) or parallel arrangement for larger increases in temperature or mass flow possible.

• Use for mechanical exhaust vapour condensing (water steam condensing) in the food industry and for the further processing of organic materials (evaporation)
• Cellulose deposits from sulphite processes
• Distillation of iso-propyl alcohol
• Evaporation of sugar solution
• Sea water desalination
• Evaporation of milk/whey
• Evaporation of citric acid
• Evaporation of potato starch
• Treatment of sewerage
